Rosella Tomato Sauce has been revived since going back into production in 2013. As seen in the label, it is marketed by focussing on its home-grown identity and its history as a staple on many Australian dining tables for several years. This is seen through the label featuring “Australia’s since 1895”; “Australian Grown” and statements such as “The table wasn’t set unless salt, pepper and Rosella Tomato Sauce were on it” by Marc Katsambis emphasising the nostalgia and historic place Rosella Tomato Sauce has in many Australian homes.
The Brad Sayers commercial suggests that Australia should “Take (Rosella) back again” as the company is “back in town”. The tastiness of Rosella Tomato Sauce is emphasised through model Yvonee Strahovski drinking the sauce repeatedly, like a cocktail.
