Marketing and Advertising

 

Rosella established in 1895 in Australia and for many decades it was a staple brand within Australian pantry’s as the recipes were labelled ‘home-made’.  Due to this, the marketing and advertising of Rosella products focussed on these characteristics as demonstrated in the following commercials and slogans.   

 

Rosella's most recent advertisement campaign (see above) to revive the company merges a series of slogans into one campaign reinforcing its Australian origins and its quality taste as reflected in their product labelling.  This campaign is strengthened through iconic advertiser Allan Johnston singing the jingle in the background whose voice is well known within Australian homes (Media Net, 2014).   

 

Rosella slogans include:

  • "With Rosella in your pantry, you're prepared for anything". 

  • "Only the best to you from Rosella". 

  • "There's no taste like home". 

  • "Nothing tastes as good as home grown". 

  • "Home Grown. Australian grown, made and owned". 

 

Rosella has also moved into the world of social media as a platform for advertising their company and products.   They have profiles on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Pinterest and a YouTube channel.
